Established in 2018, NIDA Community Services UK also known as NIDA Charity, registered with the Charity Commission (No. 1187310), was founded with the vision of alleviating poverty and fostering hope. Recognizing the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable communities in both Harrow, United Kingdom, and Sri Lanka, we are committed to providing sustainable pathways to self-sufficiency. Our organization’s mission is twofold: locally, we strive to uplift individuals experiencing hardship, particularly those facing homelessness, through the provision of essential services; globally, we empower individuals and communities in Sri Lanka through strategic grants and collaborative partnerships.
Our financial integrity is paramount, built upon the founding principles of transparency and accountability. We operate with a 100% Donation Policy, utilizing our “Golden Thread” system to meticulously trace the impact of every contribution. We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our donors. Furthermore, our eligibility to receive Gift Aid from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) significantly strengthens our financial capacity. Adhering to the highest standards of financial management, we provide rigorous reporting to the Charity Commission, ensuring complete transparency and accountability.
